Suzuki Talent Education Program

The Suzuki Talent Education method of teaching a musical instrument was founded by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki.  He discovered that children can learn to play an instrument through daily listening and practicing with the same ease that they learn to speak their native language.  Parent participation during private lessons, daily practice and weekly workshops is a key element in the success of this fun and exciting program.  Suzuki instruction is offered on violin, viola, and cello.  Lessons may begin at the age of four.  Concurrent enrollment in private lessons and workshops are mandatory.

Traditional Private Instruction

Private lessons are at the foundation of a student’s musical education. The individual attention a student receives with a private teacher promotes rapid musical progress and provides the time needed for a more thorough development of the sudent’s skill and talents.

Evergreen offers 30, 45, and 60 minute private lessons. Lessons are scheduled individually with the instructor.
