1. Continuing students must register for a full semester. New students are accepted at any time, and register for the remainder of the semester. (fees are pro-rated)
2. Registering for individual or class instruction financially obligates a student for the entire semester.
3. 24-hour notice by a student of an inability to attend a lesson is required to schedule a make-up lesson. If prior notice is not given the lesson is forfeit. Teachers are obligated to make-up only two lessons per semester due to student absence or cancellations.
4. EMC faculty are skilled teachers and performers. Faculty who cancel their lessons will schedule make-up lessons at a time convenient to both teacher and student.
5. A student who wishes to discontinure lessons or classes may do so without penalty only at the end of the semester, unless severe circumstances occur, in which case arrangements must be made with the director.
6. The student is responsible for coming to lessons on time. Any time that is missed due to student tardiness will not be made up. A teacher is required to wait 15 minutes for a student, but a make-up lesson will not be given for the time missed by the student.
7. EMC reserves the right to dismiss any student for lack of interest or progress, frequent absences or tardiness, behavorial problems, delinquency in payment of fees, or failure to abide by policy.
8. EMC reserves the right to withdraw any course for which enrollent is insufficient to warrant the organization of that class.
9. There are no extensions or refunds for missed classes.
